NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Frederick County Sanitation Authority held a Public Hearing on Tuesday August 25, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. in the Board Room of the Authority’s Administrative Office located at 315 Tasker Road, Stephens City, Virginia to receive comments on the following preliminary Water and Sanitary Sewer rates for bills rendered after September 1, 2009:

Rate  Increase
Water Base Rate $5.00 increase per Bi-monthly
Water Consumption Rate $0.30 increase per 1000 gallons
Miscellaneous Fees Increase as noted separately
Water Availability Fee $3,000 increase per unit

These rate changes were passed, and have been updated on the Rate Information and Connection Fees pages of the website.
